LugoFilm Ltd was founded in 2013 by Vince Lugo, a massive cinema geek from Cashiers, North Carolina who got his degree in Film Studies in May 2008. After seeing one bad film too many and thinking "I could make a better movie than that!", He decided to prove it.
His major influences include Don Bluth, Walt Disney, Jim Henson, Kevin Smith, Tim Burton, Bruce Timm, George Lucas, Rankin/Bass, Hanna/Barbera and Matt Groening among others.
He plans to work primarily in animation since that's what he loves (with the occasional documentary when he feels like doing something different), but won't rule out the possibility of doing a live-action film in the right circumstances. His dream project would be to do a proper five-film adaptation of Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain, or failing that, Norton Juster's The Phantom Tollbooth.
